Anyone else confused???

You would think when screen writer Elizabeth Merriweather conversed with her producers about her movie, “No Strings Attached” they would have informed her that David Newman had already written an identical screen play called “Friends with Benefits.”

You would ALSO think that while filming “Black Swan” co-stars Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman would have discussed how they were both playing the lead role in two different movies about the exact same thing…

Is this what Hollywood has come to? It’s so difficult to find young writers with fresh ideas that they had to release the same movie with different actors in the same six months? It’s despicable if you ask me. The great actors of the past would roll over in their graves if they heard of such ludicrousness!

I shouldn’t lie though..

I enjoyed “No Strings Attached” and I would very much like to see “Friends with Benefits” so as to decide which one is better. Unfortunately I don’t think that everyone else who saw “No Strings Attached” is going to be as willing as I am to pay another 11.50 to see a movie they have already seen. I also don’t think people who didn’t go see it are going to be interested in the oh so dissimilar “Friends with Benefits”
